  • Step 1: Reach Out

    It starts with a conversation. Tell us about your book, where you are in the process, and what you're hoping to create. There's no pressure, no pitch, just two people talking about your work.

  • Step 2: Discovery Meeting

    This is our favourite part. You'll sit down (generally virtually) and really dig into your book; what it's about, what it means to you, and what kind of reader you're writing for. Expect to get excited. Sometimes clients cry. That's a good sign.

  • Step 3: Custom Presentation

    Before any design work begins, we’ll send you a full creative brief — our read of your book, recommended directions, cover concepts with supporting quotes from your manuscript, keyword and mood research, and multiple design paths to explore. You'll know exactly why each recommendation was made, and which one we believe in most.

  • Step 4: Spec Sheets & Interior Design

    Once the direction is set, you'll receive detailed spec sheets: example page layouts, typography options, title cards, stylized chapter headings, and decorative elements (dinkuses) that match the feel of your book. Every interior detail is considered.
