My wife and I recently came to Michael with an idea - some text, cover art, and a vision for a book I hoped to make a reality. He helped turn those pieces into a finished book that was even better than what I'd imagined.

Highly professional, very approachable, a great experience. I had a finished, edited manuscript with cover art, but a lot of stress trying to get the correct files to self publish. I wanted to redo the interior formatting as I wanted to proofread it again. Someone else had previously formatted it, and I was happy with the design, but I noticed proofreading issues that needed to be dealt with and my previous designer was no longer available. I'm thrilled with how Michael helped me complete this project. The new formatting is beautiful and uploading the files to Amazon this time went smoothly. The initial video chat we had really put my mind at ease and was very useful. Great advice and a quick turn around at each step, I would happily work with Michael and Foglio again.

Michael at Foglio designed the cover of my novel, “The Denied Stone.” It was a pleasure working with him on it, and if I do write another book, I will absolutely work with him again.

Michael is a good listener, a close reader, attentive to detail, and — most importantly — highly insightful. I had a clear vision for the cover, and he delivered on it quite well. But he also included a different version entirely based on a passage in the book, and it was so compelling and well-executed that I went with his idea.

Michael typeset the book's interior and undertook multiple revisions — turning each around in one or two days. He also created eBook files for me. He made sure the various revisions conformed to online bookseller guidelines.

As a first-time author, he was also incredibly patient with my last-minute revisions to the text. (Again, sorry about that, Michael!)

Overall, I could not be more pleased with how this project turned out. Michael is creative, attentive, diligent, and patient. I absolutely made the right choice in collaborating with him, and, if you choose to do so, rest assured you will have made the right choice as well.

Working with Mike was a pleasure from day one. When I first reached out to him I wasn't sure whether I wanted to self-publish or go the traditional route, and he asked some honest questions which ultimately helped me realize I was BUILT for self-publishing. I ended up contracting Mike for his most expensive package because I really wanted to knock my debut novel outta the park, but also get some light help for subsequent books in the series I was starting.

Working together: Mike is super professional. I'm a bit of a chaos agent, I'm all over the place, but he was always extremely patient and on-point. He responded to every curveball with patience and grace. And since I was new to self-publishing and had no idea how to navigate IngramSpark or KDP, Mike even helped with submitting my book to both, going as fine detail to even suggest how to select the type of paper and why.

Final product: Every single person who has seen my book (Mike did all design work, including cover, spine, back cover, and interior typesetting) has said the same thing - “Oh wow, that's super professional and high quality.”
